Richard Vincent Snyder, Ph.D. passed away on Sunday May 18, 2025. Born on November 12, 1976, in Boynton Beach, FL, Richard was the son of George and Caridad Snyder.
Richard received a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, a MBA from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a doctoral degree in chemistry from Florida International University. Richard led a fulfilling career as a technical representative for GENEWIZ and most recently served as the Director of North American Sales for Devyser. Richard was recognized as a valued leader whose dedication, warmth, and generosity made a lasting impact on those around him. Richard always took on life's greatest challenges courageously and without fear.
Richard is survived by his loving spouse of four years, Hilary: his children Roman, Rhys, and Leo. He is also survived by his parents George and Caridad Snyder, his brother Raymond Snyder, sister-in-law Jodie Snyder, nephew Benjamin Snyder, niece Kassie Snyder, and mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary and Don Kutik.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home 1727 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801.
Richard's legacy of dedication to his family, friends, and profession will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
