Dick was an inspiration to all of the participants in the Senior Olympics. He was one in a million! One can only imagine running a 50 or 100 meter race at age 96! He will be missed. :-(

Dick and I met at the starting line for the Cincinnati Turkey Day race all the way back in 2012. He was such a hopeful light in my world (and I know he will remain that to me). I miss him so dearly already and know that we were all better for having known him. His tenacity and absolute zest for life will be unmatched in my lifetime. May God already be embracing him up there, and then putting a Heavenly race bib on his shirt. I love you so much, Dick. <3
