Obituary of Richard F. Swartwood

Richard F. Swartwood (Bizkit) born on April 23, 1972, to the late Richard Swartwood and Elnora L. Kennedy, in Elmira NY, passed away on August 30, 2025. He was known as a very artistic man, especially for his tattoos, and who was always selling trendy clothing that he collected. He loved going to New York City, he loved skateboarding, he was loyal to the Jets (even though he knew they didn't win as much), and he loved cooking, which he was amazing at, oxtails and clams. He was a giving and bright soul, and you could tell where he got it from, as he loved his mother very much. Richard always loved goofing around, making his friends and family smile.

Richard is predeceased by his parents and his loving girlfriend, Morgan Simpson. He leaves in his loving memory, his special friend LaShaun Scharborough, his daughters Avella Swartwood and her sister Genevieve Watkins, Katelyn and Ashley Swartwood, brothers William (Billy), Mark Swartwood, and "Lonnie" Kennedy, sisters Justina Swartwood and Johanna Stanton, many nieces and nephews including McKenzie and her sister Stephanie Swartwood.

Private services will be held at a later date.
