Of Franklin – Passed away December 18, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Marlene for 67 years. Loving father of Jodi. Preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Loraine Vanden Boom, an infant son and daughter, sister Elaine Waltenberger, and brother Dale Vanden Boom. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Graduate of South Division High School class of 1952. Rich was a carpenter for over 45 years at Math Starck & Sons, Inc. and a retired member of Local 344 since 1954. Rich enjoyed hunting, watching the Green Bay Packers, trips to the casino with his wife, and watching the wildlife in his yard. Rich was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help.
The family is grateful to the wonderful staff at Zilber Family Hospice.
Private services were held.
