Richard Vayhinger

Richard Clyde Vayhinger, age 75, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, May 22nd at Kobacker House. Preceded in death by, his loving wife of 49 years, Marsha Vayhinger and parents, Gilbert and Agnes Vayhinger. Survived by, children, Jill Scott, Amanda (Chris) Bircher and Melissa (Steve) Bruns, grandchildren, Cassidy and Ryan Scott, Mason and Olivia Bircher, Payten, Cooper, McKenna and Harper Bruns, brother, Gilbert Vayhinger Jr., Brother-in-law Jack Nutter (Gail) and Sister-in-law Barbara Nutter. Numerous other family and friends. Rick was a kind, compassionate man who was loved by all who came into contact with him. He was the definition of a "family man". He was an avid sports fan, but his favorite teams were whatever teams his grandchildren happened to be on. He was at every event that he could possibly attend rooting and keeping detailed stats on his grandchildren. A private family burial will be held at the gravesite and a Celebration on life will be had at the Hilliard VFW on Friday, May 31st from 5:30-8:00pm. Interment Alton Cemetery. Arrangements completed at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 5471 Frazell Rd., Hilliard, Ohio.
