I knew Dick (or Brother Dick as I called him), for over 40 years. From that first time we met on North Druid Hills for lunch, I loved his down to earth manner and love of Jesus. I loved hanging out with Dick and going to Lake Russell fishing, although I was and still am, a terrible fisherman. I didn't go for the fishing, primarily for the fellowship. I was blessed to spend time with Dick and Jerry Lynne playing cards, going out to eat and just talking about the Lord. I made it a habit of calling Dick, wherever I was in the world during my International travel days, as he seemed to get a kick out of talking to me from China, Australia, Europe, South America. My life was enhanced by friendship with this dear Brother in the Lord. Thanks for all the great memories and time we spent together.
