With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Allen Wolfe, 68, who peacefully left this world on August 1, 2025, at home in Wausau, Wisconsin. Born on December 8, 1956, in Wausau, Rick was a loving husband, devoted father, treasured grandpa, and cherished friend to many.

Richard lived a life full of joy, laughter, and adventure. He dedicated over 38 years of hard work at Kraft Foods, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Known for his warm smile and kind spirit, he was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a hearty laugh. He was an avid sports enthusiast who eagerly awaited the fall, cheering on his beloved football teams (his favorite team was regrettably the Cleveland Browns), and spent summers rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers. He loved playing darts and was a member of the Elks Club, where he was a proud member for 19 years. Whether he was solving the world's problems around a fire in his backyard with friends, enjoying a drink and a cigar, or cruising in his new sports car, Rick embraced life to the fullest.

He leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory in their hearts: his devoted wife, Judy Wolfe; his beloved daughters, Stephanie Wolfe and Nikki (Brian) Polk; and his greatest joy, grandson, Liam Polk. Richard is further survived by his brothers, Terry (Judy) Oestreich and Bill (Jean) Wolfe. He also found immense joy in the companionship of his dog, Bella, who was truly his faithful friend. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Mary Jane Wolfe and brother, Bob Oestreich.

A memorial service honoring Richard's life will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams Street, Wausau. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at which time a service will be held. Elks Lodge #248 will also be holding a Lodge of Sorrow at that time at the funeral home. There will be a celebration of life at Crafties, 4103 Schofield Avenue, Weston, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

Rick's spirit will always live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He touched so many lives with his kindness and humor, and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
