Madison – Richard Earl Zubke, age 71, passed away on Monday May 20, 2024. He was born Nov. 10, 1952, in Beaver Dam to the late Gilbert and Ruth (Sudgen) Zubke. He grew up in Waupun and Beaver Dam and spent his time in Madison since 1996. He received his degree in Industrial Marketing from MPTC in Fond du Lac. He also worked at US Bank and with Lutheran Social Services. Richard was an avid sports fan and looked forward to watching and talking about the Brewers, Badgers, Cowboys and Packers.


Richard is survived by his children Brent Zubke, Heath Zubke and Danielle Zubke Kazmierczak ; siblings Donna (Todd) Metke, Pam (Charlie) Hollnagel , Donald Zubke and Frank Zubke; and he is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.


A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on June 4, 2024 at Cress Funeral and Cremation Services 3325 E. Washington Avenue, Madison WI 53704. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the service starts at Cress Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial will take place after the service at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Rubicon, WI.
