FITCHBURG - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rick Aldrich, a man as charismatic and captivating as he was thoughtful and talented.
Born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on October 13, 1990, to parents Rafael A. Aldrich, Jr. and Julyann Rivera, Rick was the embodiment of joy, laughter, and love. His engaging personality and radiant smile were his trademarks, and his presence alone was enough to light up any room.
Rick Aldrich was a man of many talents, but his most cherished role was that of a loving father, devoted son, supportive brother, and caring fiancé. He was a family man at heart, with an undying ambition to leave a legacy for his loved ones.
Rick is survived by his fiancée Janie Cooper; his daughter, Nevaeh; and sons, Kingston, Nelson, Derrill, and Rick Junior; his father, Rafael A. Aldrich Jr; his grandparents, Teresita Montañez and Jose Montañez; his siblings, Emily Aldrich, Brianna Aldrich, Nadya Aldrich, Nidhyanna Aldrich, Nalyanna Aldrich, Zayanaira Negron, Jesus Negron, Georleanna Negron, and Jean Negron, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews who cherished him dearly.
He was predeceased by his mother, Julyann Rivera.
Rick enjoyed motorcycle rides, fishing, cracking jokes, singing, and dancing to his favorite music at backyard barbecues, and paving roads throughout the country. Most of all, he loved spending time with his most prized possession, his family and friends. Rick was truly a one-of-a-kind personality who touched everyone he met. He didn’t have a bad bone in his body and was full of humor, laughter, and so much love. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. While we mourn the loss of Rick, we also celebrate his life, remembering the love, joy, and laughter he brought into our lives.
His memories will forever be etched in our hearts. We encourage family and friends to leave memories and upload photos to Rick's memorial page at www.brandonfuneral.com, as we remember and honor his vibrant life.
