Rick Blaise Obituary
Rick worked at Wausau hospital as a custodian. He was a loving father to his eight children.
Rick proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1981-1984 and boxed during his time in the service.
He was a member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved wolves. He was a kind and gentle person who always made time for his family and dog Brandi.
Rick is survived by daughters Jesse Blaise and husband Allen Zimmerman, Ashley Blaise, Shantéa Blaise, and Brittney Blaise, sons James Blaise, Kyle Blaise, Tyler Blaise, and Leon Blaise, brothers Jerry Blaise and Edward Blaise, granddaughter Aaliyah Ann Blaise, and Aunts Barbara King, Dorothy Niehoff, and Carole Cole.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Larry, David, and Kenny and a sister Linda.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Reverend Fletcher Larson will officiate. Interment will be in Northwoods Veterans Cemetery.
Strasser-Roller Funeral Home has served the family.
