When we were young playing football was always our go to. There were 12 of us which made for plenty to form 2 competitive teams. Ricky was one of the 4 oldest boys and they took turns being captains to pick their teams. If Ricky was a captain he always picked me to be on his team. I won´t say that my brothers never picked me to be on their teams but I knew if it was Ricky I always had a chance to be on a winning team. He always lifted my confidence even though I was a pipsqueak with a 50% rate of catching the dang football. When things got a little too competitive Ricky had that reasonable calmness to settle disputes between teams so we could continue the countless hours of fun playing football. Such a credit to his father and mother, my Uncle Garry and Aunt Glenda. I fell in love with his wife Laura before they even married. Jerrel and I shared a love for dogs with Ricky and Laura. Only couple more crazy about their dogs than we were and still are. So extremely saddened about his sudden passing and know that my respect, love and great memories will always continue to bring a warm smile to my face. Our love and prayers will hopefully be felt by Uncle Garry, Aunt Glenda, Laura, Tina, Kirk, Kyle, Kelly and all of their collective children. Love, forever and always,
Cousin Diane.
