Rickey Howard Corns, age 69, of Tollesboro, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 1, 2025, in the comfort of his loving family in Ripley, Ohio.
He was born August 11, 1955, in Maysville, Kentucky, at Hayswood Hospital, a son of the late Howard Leslie and Gladys Ruby Meadows Corns.
Rickey spent his early years in the hills of Kentucky, where he ginsenged and developed a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed trapping and watching wildlife and he took comfort in the simple things, sitting in his favorite rocker, reading a good book and listening to music. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind three children, Rickey Edward (Alma Catherine) Corns, Amber Rebekah (Brian) Thompson and LesLee Jean (Cameron Robert) Hasenstab. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren, Connor Neely, Dalton Corns, Kelsey Neely, Katelynn Tolle, Seth Corns, Jade Hasenstab, Adrian Hasenstab, Noah Hasenstab and Terryn Hasenstab and a great-grandfather to Riley Neely; two brothers, Dale Wayne (Mary) Corns and Donald Ray Corns.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2025, at Tollesboro Cemetery with Brother Phil Cropper officiating.
Tollesboro Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Rickey Howard Corns.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Rickey's memory with a donation to the American Heart Association.
