Ricky Gene McCarty, 62 of Humphrey passed away at his home Monday, May 5, 2025. He was born Nov. 2, 1962, in Stuttgart to Floyd and Annie Magaline Brixie McCarty.
Ricky was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a farm laborer.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Dale McCarty; and a sister, Patsy Sue Smith.
Survivors are his wife, Brenda Vent McCarty; son, Ricky Dewayne McCarty (Heather) of Humnoke; two sisters, Glenda McCarty (Scotty) of Humphrey and Gail Nobles (Gene) of Quitman; three grandchildren, Mason McCarty, Cameron McCarty and Gage McCarty; and one step-grandson, Noah Penn.
Cremation services offered though Turpin Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
