Ricky was born January 15, 1987 in Big Spring, Texas to Humberto Mier and Elena Flores Mier. Devoted to his family, he adored his kids. He was his sons' best friend, and his daughter's hero. He was a very caring and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a life-long Big Spring resident and was employed by the Boys & Girls Club. Ricky loved the Dallas Cowboys and numerology.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Humberto and Elena Mier; his sister, Cynthia Mier; and two brothers, Andy Flores, and Albert Mier, Sr.
He is survived by his children, Ricky Mier, Jr., Ava Jean Mier, and Zander Chavez; his siblings, Nora Flores, Mary Mier, Yolanda Caballero, Patricia Aguilar, Christy Mier, Joey Mier, Connie Medina, and John Anthony Mier. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers & Smith Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be made at www.myersandsmith.com
