Rita had a light-hearted and tender presence. Whenever I was in her company, I felt happy. Just seeing her made me feel like everything would be okay. Rita left me laughing when she and Patty were on their way for ice cream and they stopped to say hello on the corner of 4th and Phillips. I´ll never forget that moment. To all of her wonderful family - you will have Mom´s beautiful light shining within you and she will be a part of us forever.
