Rita M. Eyerman

Rita M. Eyerman, 89, of Carney's Point, NJ passed away on March 30th, 2025. Rita was one of nine children born to George & Catharine. Rita Eyerman was predeceased by her parents George M. & Catharine (Schlachter) Eyerman, her sisters Monica, Margaret "Pat" Lloyd and Sister Eleanor, and her brothers, John, George, Paul & Robert. She is survived by her sister Anne Regler, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, including great nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her dear friends Jim and Donna Carfagno and Mitch and Susan Press.
Rita liked playing sports. She enjoyed bowling, tennis, golf, basketball, swimming, running and exercising. Babysitting her nieces & nephews was one of her greatest joys. As they got older, she could be found coloring or playing games with them. She was also an avid Phillies, Eagles, & Fox News fan.
Rita was a Speech Therapist in the Delran Township School district, retiring July 1994, with over 26 years of service. Many people did not realize that she was a dental hygienist in the United States Navy being Honorably Discharged in January 1968.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 7th at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 369 Georgetown Road, Carney's Point, NJ 08069 from 10am to 11am, with a funeral mass at 11am. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Penns Grove, NJ.
