Robbie Weightman

Robbie Lynn Weightman, age 72, of Evansville, Indiana, suddenly went to his heavenly home, on August 17, 2025. Robbie was a fun-loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known for his quick wit and silly nature.
Born on August 27, 1952, to Cecil and Thelma "Jane" (Middleton) Weightman, Robbie grew up in Evansville, where he graduated from Harrison High School in 1970. He played football at Vanderbilt University, where he expanded his horizons and prepared for a future of entrepreneurship.
Robbie met the love of his life, Mary Ann Weightman (Shaw, Tenhumberg), they were united in holy matrimony; sharing a beautiful journey of 22 years. They were soul mates and best friends. Together, they blended a family that Robbie held dear to his heart. His sons, Andy and Alex Weightman (Adriana); and his stepchildren, Heath Tenhumberg (Heather), Heather Zoss (Bob), and Ashley Balsdon (Craig). Robbie's siblings, Tammy Cox (Don) and Roy Weightman (Georgia), shared in the many adventures and joys of his life.
Robbie's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Scotty, Ashden, Austin, and Charlee Weightman; as well as his step grandchildren, Keating Zoss (Allison), Gehrig Tenhumberg, Avery Zoss (Hadley), Holton Zoss (Alisha), Chapel Zoss (Brooke), Zachary Balsdon, Honor Benton (Zach), Bennett Balsdon, Dallas Balsdon, Denver Balsdon and Lowen Zoss. Each of them carries a piece of Robbie's spirit and humor, which will forever resonate within the family. Robbie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Teddy Weightman.
Professionally, Robbie was in the painter's union for twenty years. Later, he founded and was the proud owner of All Windows for Less, where he served his community with the gift of gab and hard work. He loved his family and friends.
Robbie's interests were as diverse as his talents. He loved his Reese's cups, danishes and Diet Pepsi. He had a passion for flipping houses, where he could apply his vision for transformation and his hands-on skills. Yard sales with his wife, were a favorite weekend activity, as he loved finding treasures and sharing stories with neighbors. Robbie was also an avid pool player, often found at the table with friends, sharing laughter and showcasing his competitive, yet fun spirit. He was part of a winning pool league, that advanced to participate in the tournament in Las Vegas.
To say Robbie was funny would be an understatement. His humor was a beacon of light that could brighten the darkest of days. He had a gift for making others laugh, a quality that endeared him to many.
As we remember Robbie Lynn Weightman, we celebrate a life well-lived-a life filled with love, laughter, and a faith in God. Robbie's presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of all who knew him. We take solace in knowing that he is now at peace in the eternal embrace of our Lord, where every day is a testament to the joy he brought to our lives on earth.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 4 pm – 9 pm at The Farm golf course clubhouse (formerly Hamilton golf course) at 6901 Petersburg Road, Evansville, IN 47711. Family and friends are invited to join us for food and fellowship.
