Robert L. "Bob" Barton, 88, of Blanchard, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 at his home.Born May 27, 1937 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Harry Barton and Dorothy Winner (Clair) Duck.On September 15, 1957 at the People's Church of Farrandsville, Bob married the former Betty Jane McKeague, who survives.Bob served in the Army National Guards from 1955 until his Honorable Discharge in 1963.He was employed as a mechanic at Woolrich Woolen Mills for many years before his retirement in 2008.Bob was a member of the People's Church of Farrandsville and the Lock Haven Legion.He had a passion for the outdoors, especially hunting and watching the wide array of wildlife that frequented his backyard. He enjoyed woodworking, playing games on his computer and watching football, NASCAR or old westerns on his TV.In addition to his wife, Betty, Bob is survived by two daughters, Robin (Johnny Bechtol) Davis and Jeannette (Buddy) Kramer, both of Mill Hall; a sister, Kathy Hyuck of Mill Hall; a brother, Harry Barton of Jersey Shore; a sister-in-law, Nancy Barton of Lock Haven; three grandchildren: Robert Davis, Tyler (Stephanie) Kramer and Amanda Kramer; and two great-grandchildren, Walker Homan and Liam Kramer.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Barton; a daughter, Bonna Barton; and two brothers, Ron and Gene Barton.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11 A.M. at the People's Church of Farrandsville with Pastor Jack Hocker officiating.Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the start of the service.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the People's Church of Farrandsville, c/o Donald G.
