Robert L. "Bob" Bilbrey

Robert "Bob" L. Bilbrey, age 69, of Medina, Ohio passed away suddenly on January 18, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1955, in Bellevue, Ohio to the late Richard Bilbrey, Sr. and Nancy (Gildenmeister) Bilbrey. Bob was a graduate of The Ohio State University and earned his MBA at Ashland College. He was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, as well as a member of The Knights of Columbus. Bob loved hunting, golfing, and watching westerns, especially anything with John Wayne. Bob was a friend to all and helped wherever needed. But above all Bob loved being in the company of his beloved family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Joanne (Alt) Bilbrey; loving children, Erin (Seth) Hartland, Mary (Ethan) Bravo, Beth Bilbrey (Wardell "DJ" Hoskins), his cherished grandchildren, Riley, Landon, Aurora, Dreya, and newborn twin boys born on December 31, 2024, Silas Oliver and Rowan Eliot; his mother, Nancy (Gildenmeister) Bilbrey; his siblings, Richard (Kathy) Bilbrey, Lawrence (Barbara) Bilbrey, and Karen Kuhns; his Alt family, Jim and Ray Ann, Bob and Denise, Ron and Cheryl, Jean Zieber and also Mary and Gary Perkins; along with numerous nieces and nephews, friends and colleagues.
He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Monica Anne; his sister, Kathryn Mizner; his nephew, Brian Bilbrey; and his cousin, Jeff Burkin.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 12 noon, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E Washington Street, Medina, OH 44256 followed by interment at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery.
