I met Bob when he and his family moved to Yorkville next door to my mom Thelma Wilson. He was always watching over my mom and lending her a hand. Whenever near he had a smile and a wave for us. Years later after my mom passed he ended up renting and living in her house. He took great care of her house and her yard. We became friends over the 20 plus years that I knew him. He was my "go to guy" for painting anything else I needed help with. He even helped put up my christmas roof lights. He'd never say no to a friend in need. Bob was a kind and caring man. Bob will be missed by many for many reasons. I was blessed to know Bob and I will miss him dearly.

My brother Bob was always there when I needed him, and we grew up together sharing almost everything together. Particularly many really great get-togethers in our younger years with family and socially.
As kids, we played baseball in the same league and we attended the same schools. Bob was a home run hitter in many different ways. We even dated some of the same girls growing up. There are 100+ memories of my brother Bob that I will always appreciate! Camping trips with our dad and family backyard cookouts and many other things.
He will always have a place in my heart and memories. I loved him dearly.

Ginny, so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was so fortunate to have you in his life the last 10 years as you were to have him. Your love for him and his for you was obvious to anyone who paid attention. He had you to care for him during his final days. He knew he was loved, he knew you cared, and most importantly, you allowed him to pass with dignity and peace. Your efforts were the greatest expression of love - I know Bob knew it too. Thank you Ginny - know that Bob will be missed.
