Robert Louis Lutzke, age 83, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 15, 2025. He was born on June 13, 1942 in Sheboygan to the late Walter and Wilma (Rothe) Lutzke. He was raised on the family farm, and attended Elkhart Lake High School. On December 14, 1963, he married the love of his life, JoAnn, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. Together they raised four children: Rob, Amy, Jodi and Heather.

Following high school, Bob worked at Lakeland Manufacturing, Great Lakes Homes and Vollrath Company, before taking over the family farm. Bob’s faith was very important to him, and his faith in the Lord was strong. He was a long-time member of Immanuel UCC in Plymouth. He was also a sports fan, and enjoyed watching his Brewers, Packers and golf games on the T.V. He also loved to attend concerts and plays. Bob enjoyed traveling to many places in the United States, taking bus trips across the country. He and JoAnn visited Alaska, Hawaii, and even traveled abroad to Germany. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially attending his grandkids sporting events, and card playing. Bob will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bob is survived by his wife JoAnn, and their children Rob (Tina) Lutzke, Amy (Toby) Jahnke, Jodi (Chris) Lutzke, Heather (Jon) Kelly. He is further survived by his grandkids Taylor (Matthew) Jacobs, Garrett Jahnke, Riley (Joseph) Jahnke, Olivia, Clark,Vivian, Everett & Grace Kelly, Cameron (Faith) Fritz, Mitchel Jensen & Connar Arnhoelter; his great-grandkids Micah & Norah Jacobs and Dale Fritz; his brother Michael Lutzke, his sister Susan (Steven) Breher; his brothers-in-law Dennis Grunewald, Randy (Sue) Grunewald, Tim (Kelly) Grunewald, and Lee (Joan) Grunewald, and his sisters-in-law Kay (Leo) Waldschmidt, Delores (Keith) Liebenstein, Jane Rentmeester, Bonnie Fintelmann and Cindy Schmidt, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his parents-in-law Milton and Dorothy Grunewald, brothers-in-law Donnie, Jerry, Gary, Dale & Eugene Grunewald, LeRoy Fink, Jim Fintelmann, Chuck Berg, and Jim Schmidt, and sisters-in-law Judy Lutzke, LaVerne Berg, Margene Fink, and Jane Grunewald.

The family would like to thank Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan for the excellent care & compassion shown to Robert & family.

A funeral service will take place at Immanuel UCC, W3694 Co Rd FF, Plymouth, on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Sean Cornell officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Burial will be private.
