Robert (Bob) Reuse, 81, of Lavale, MD died at Mercy UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA on Thursday, November 28 2024.
Bob was born in Huntingdon, PA in 1943 to Raymond and Betty Reuse. Bob served for four years in the United States Airforce as a Private First Class. Bob was well known in LaVale as the owner and operator of the Maryland Discount Beverage Center for over 45 years.
He was a kind heart and gentle soul who most enjoyed golf, nature and long walks in the rain. He enjoyed games with his granddaughter Supaporn and moose calls with Althea.
Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Henry and Margaret Elizabeth (Kelley) Reuse; niece Margaret Elizabeth "Molly" Workmeister; in-laws, George and LaVerne Rendar; sister-in-law, Cynthia (Rendar) Mappin and brother-in-law, John Workmeister.
Bob was survived by his wife of 40 years, Roxanne (Rendar) Reuse; daughter, Elizabeth Marie Reuse and husband Scott Mason of Wilmington, NC; son, Robert Harold Reuse Jr. and wife Daw Reuse of Pearland, TX; granddaughters, Supaporn Raksa of Wilmington, NC and Althea Reuse of Pearland, TX; siblings, Raymond Reuse and wife Harriet, Judith Workmeister, Jan Shaffer and husband Rick, Georgette Gajewski and husband Michael, and brother-in-law, Richard Mappin; nephews, Timothy Workmeister and wife Ann, Robert Workmeister and wife Kari, Scott Shaffer, Christopher Moderacki; and niece, Kimberly Clouden and husband Russell.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 am; Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Skidmore officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
