Robert Glenn Brown, 48, of Piedmont, left his earthly pain and entered a better place on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born in Anniston, AL to Douglas Ray and Linda Faye Maddox Brown.
He was the strongest, hardest working man who took great pride in his work. He was the best left-handed bricklayer you would ever meet, working with Mickler Construction. He was a fan of Hank Williams, was a wonderful father, husband, and friend, and was loved by so many. He took great pride in his daughters, “Tater and Bean” as he called them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Ray Brown; and an infant son, Robert Wayne Brown. He is survived by his loving wife, Christy Lynn Peek; daughters: Halee “Bean” Brown and Hannah “Tater” Brown; mother: Linda King; and brother Jeffery (Juston) Jones.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm from Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 11:00 am until funeral time. Burial will follow in Pleasant Gap Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Ward will officiate and pallbearers will be Allen Mickler, Chris Cardwell, Nick Mickler, Juston Jones, Jeffery Jones, and Lamar Couch. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Venecia’s Foundation.
Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Brown Family.
