Robert K. Bygden, 66, died peacefully surrounded by his whole family on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Robert was born to John and Marilyn Bygden on January 31, 1959. He grew up quickly learning how to ride horses and care for them at a young age. When visitors came to the riding stable Robert would take the riders out for a ride. He loved his dog Prince and loved riding his horses Buckey and Poietta. Robert had a soft spot for any animal that he could help. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boats, and snowmobiling. Bob's favorite job was working on the Michigan Northern Railroad with his Uncle Dick. He spent a lot of time on the road driving semi-truck and was a confident driver whom many could respect for the way he could drive. Bob enjoyed music, loved dancing, and especially loved his favorite sport of Nascar spending hours watching the race.

Robert is survived by his parents, John and Marily Bygden of Hubbard Lake, two sons, Joseph (Nichole) Plume of Paw Paw, John (Jamaican) Bygden of Hubbard Lake, four grandchildren, Blake, Amelia, Lilly, Austin, two sisters, Cari (Rich) Oliver of Lachine, Phyllis (Ben) Muzljakovich of Allenton, and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded by his sister Connie "Puff" Bygden with whom he shared a very special friendship with. Robert will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements. A private celebration of life will be held a later date. Online condolences may be registered at www.mcwilliamsfh.com.
