Robert "Bob," age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 21, 2024, of Aston, PA.
Bob was a man of faith and loved his family. He could fix anything he set his mind to. Bob loved animals, watching Philadelphia sports, and vacationing in Wildwood. He was an avid baseball player.
Predeceased by his son, Brian Carr, his parents, Charlotte Mae (nee Lewis), and John Dexter Carr, his sister, Sandra Jenkins.
Survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Jean "Jeanie" (nee Welsh) Carr, his children, Maureen Clark (George), Heather O'Reilly (Jason), Robert Carr, and Curt Carr (Linda), his six grandchildren, Josh, Emily Doerr (Jack), Nathan, Gavin, Chloe O'Reilly, and Brittney Beattie (Robert), his one great-grandson, David Beattie and his brother, Larry.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Friday, August 2nd 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM in the Main Chapel at DAnjolell-Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
Contributions in Bob's memory may be made to "Green House Project" at 44 E. 23rd Street, Chester, PA 19013 and will be handled by Pastor John Clifford.
