Robert Wayne Coffman

Robert Wayne Coffman, age 75, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 4:08 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Majestic Care of Newburgh, IN.
Wayne and his family moved from Henderson to Texas in 1961 where he, his father, and brother were known for their skills as operators in excavation. In 1983, Wayne changed lanes to become an over the road truck driver where he saw all of the lower 48 states – much of it many times. He leaves a work ethic unquestioned. All who knew him knew that he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Lottie Coffman and his siblings Marion Coffman, Evelyn Householder, and Ann Woolsey.
Wayne is survived by his sons David Thomas Coffman of Mt. Vernon, TX and Bobby Wayne Coffman of Mt. Vernon, TX and his children Ciara, Caydon, and Lyric, as well as many beloved family members in and around Henderson.
Relatives and friends are invited to Wayne's Life Celebration from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lisman Cemetery in Dixon, KY.
