Robert Crain Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel on Dec. 16, 2025.
Robert Favian Crain was born on October 5, 1970, and passed from this life on December 14, 2025.
Robert leaves behind a powerful legacy of service to his country and community, an unwavering love for his family and friends, and most importantly a bold, audacious faith. A spiritual leader and man of God, Robert loved Jesus above all else and served as a role model to everyone around him.
From an early age, Robert felt a strong calling to serve and protect others. This calling led him to join the United States Army, where he served honorably for three years. He later continued his life of service through a long and successful 23-year career with the Moore Fire Department, dedicating himself daily to the safety and well-being of others.
Robert lived out his faith openly and passionately, sharing the endless love and hope in the Lord with friends and strangers alike. He was the spiritual leader of his family. Always eager to share his testimony at any given opportunity, discipling to anyone, and always witnessing the love of Jesus to others. He was a leader and faithful member of Adoration Fellowship Church. His heart for people was evident in his willingness to help anyone in need.
Family meant everything to Robert. His wife was the love of his life, and his children and grandchildren were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them and led his home with deep love and devotion.
Outside of work, Robert found joy in his home shop, where his busy mind was always at work on a new project. He took great pride in rebuilding cars and anything else he could get his hands on. He loved anything with wheels and a motor.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 33 years, Sandra Crain; children Ryan Crain and his wife Rylee, Christine Woodraska and her husband Tyler; grandchildren Oaklyn Crain, Rush Crain, Reed Woodraska, and Tayte Crain due in May of 2026; sister Raquel Crain; father Trave Crain; niece Talia Crain; in-laws Cliff Hester and Chryl Hester; as well as numerous other loving family and friends who will miss him deeply.
Robert is preceded by his mother, Violeta Crain who he is rejoicing with in Heaven.
Robert's life was marked by faith, service, and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
