Robert Cranshaw Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jun. 26, 2024.
Robert H. Cranshaw, Jr., a beloved husband, father, and successful businessman, passed away on May 30th, 2024, in his hometown of Houston, Texas. He was born on June 2nd, 1957, to Robert Sr. and Margaret Cranshaw.
A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in finance, Robert's passion for learning extended beyond the classroom as he continued to expand his knowledge throughout his life.
He began his early career in chemical plants, which was short lived, as he realized no one could tell him what to do. He decided to utilize his real estate brokers license and became his own boss.
Robert's legacy is one of hard work and dedication. He owned and operated Brazos Contractors & Development for nearly three decades and was highly regarded in the real estate industry for his expertise and integrity. His commitment to excellence earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert will be remembered for his dry sense of humor that never failed to bring joy to those around him. Despite his success, he remained remarkably humble and approachable-a testament to his genuine nature.
His generosity knew no limits as well; always giving without seeking recognition or praise in return.
Above all else, Robbie cherished time spent with family-his wife Diane Russo; daughter Alessandra Deike (husband Derek); sons Joe Cranshaw (wife Chrissy) and Conner Cranshaw; grandsons, Dean, Jack and Brooks, they were at the center of everything he did. His sisters Linda Quigley (husband Richard) and Laura Capik (husband Gary), his niece Pam and his nephews Travis, Kyle, and Chris. And greats, Piper, Beelyn, Rebecca, and Aaron. His love for them knew no bounds as he provided unwavering support through every triumph and challenge, they faced together.
The impact left by Robert's passing will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him- the loss reverberating not only within the hearts of loved ones but also across the community where he made an indelible mark.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date-an opportunity for friends and family to come together in remembrance while honoring a man whose presence enriched countless lives during his time here on earth
