Family & friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday, August 7th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere for Robert N. "Bobby" DiNush, who died unexpectedly at his home in Lexington following a 2 year illness. He was 51 years old. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
Bobby was born on March 3, 1972 in Boston to his late parents, Nicholas J. DiNush, Sr. & Joan B. (Marshall) DiNush. He was one of four children. He was raised in East Boston and educated in East Boston Central Catholic School & later East Boston High School. Bobby's passion ever since he was young was cars. He especially was obsessed with Chevy Chevelle's, and American Muscle Cars. Bobby worked for many years as a mechanic at Doherty's Garage in Lincoln repairing school buses. He later secured a position at Wind River Environmental and became the Fleet operations Manager. During this time Bobby spent the last 23 years with his wife & best friend, he was married in 2009 to Elizabeth "Liz" Tauber. They resided in Lexington since 2000, where they shared the happiest days of their lives together. He was a loving husband, caring father and an exceptional brother, uncle and friend to many. Bobby was a man with a huge heart and his bark was always bigger than his bite. He would lend a hand to anyone who needed help and was always someone you could count on. Bobby's other baby was his 1967 Chevelle, he was so proud of that car and he enjoyed fixing it, restoring it and simply proud of owning it. He also enjoyed camping at One Acres in Raymound, NH, where he has spent time for over 38 years. He will be remembered & loved by all who knew him.
He is the beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Tauber) DiNush of Lexington. Loving father of Nicholas R. DiNush of Lexington, US Army Sergent First Class Shawn R. Gray of Texas, Amanda C. Jackson & husband Dustin of Texas, Deanna DiNush & Brittney DiNush both of Peabody. He is the cherished grandfather of Zoe, Harlyn, Arianna, & Reece. Treasured brother of Joseph DiNush & wife Sandra of No. Andover, Nicholas J. DiNush, Jr. of Revere and Joan M.P. DiNush & her companion Thomas Petrulavage of Revere. Dear son in law of Stephen J. Tauber of Lexington & his late wife Erika Tauber. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his Camp Family at Pine Acres.
At the families request, please omit flowers. Donation's in Bobby's memory may be made to the Spina Bifida Association, 6 Bowdoin St., Boston, MA 02114.

Bobbie..you were much like my dear departed husband Joe. Always with an unexpected comment but delivered with sentiment and love that was an aura that only you could possess. The two of you are going to get into trouble in heaven but one look at you both and you will be forgiven. God has blessed us with you and especially Joanie. I think God made you just for her to grow up with. My heart goes out to the family. It will be lonely without him. Fill it with memories. God bless.
