Robert John DuHaime, Jr.
August 2, 1956 – 21, January 2025
Robert, (Bobby) was born and raised in Paramus, NJ. He was surrounded by a large
loving family, and many friends. Family gatherings were an especially joyful part of his
life. He enjoyed gardening, reading, sports, and family time. He graduated from Rutgers
University in 1978 and later moved to Los Angeles, California where he pursued a
successful career in sales. He later returned to the East Coast and met the love of his
life, his beloved wife, Joan. Together for over thirty years, they created a beautiful life
and home in Maryland. They later added a family beach house in Florida, and Bobby's
passion became restoring this historic home.
He was preceded in death by his loving father Robert. He is survived by his loving wife,
Joan (McNamee), his mother, Agnes, his siblings, Tommy, Linda, Cindy, Russell and
Nancy, his in-laws, Kim, Russ, Bill, Shilo, Patty, Tom and Kathy, as well as his nephews
Doug, Jeff, Connor and Brian, his nieces Pamela, Cheslea, Sara, Elaine, Brooke, Emily,
Kari, Kimi and Stacy and his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
With his magnetic personality, Bobby was so fun to be around, and he provided much
laughter at family gatherings. He was an extremely thoughtful, generous, and kind man
and he will be dearly missed by all.
A private service with the immediate family will be held later this week. A future
celebration of life will be held for extended family and close friends.
