Robert J. Firestone entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2026 at the age of 53. Born on
August 4, 1972, Robert will be remembered for his love of the Dallas Cowboys, the New York
Yankees, and the laughter he brought to those around him. Robert is survived by his mother,
Arlene Theresa (Matturro) Firestone; his father, Robert Thomas Firestone; his brother, Michael
Firestone; Michael's wife, Traci Firestone; his aunt, Carol and his uncle, Jack; his niece,
Madison; his nephew, Chase; and his cousins Bonnie and Erin, along with many other loving
cousins. Robert will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all
who knew him.

Bob worked for the City of Linden in the Public Works Department from 1998 till he retired in 2024.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from11am to 12 noon at the Leonard-Lee Funeral
Home (301 East Blancke Street Linden, NJ 07036). Following the memorial, interment will be
held at St. Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. Family and friends are invited to honor and
remember Robert's life. In lieu of flowers, the Firestone family asks for your prayers.
