Robert Fitts, Sr. Obituary
Robert Freeman Fitts, Sr. of Selma, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 90.
He was born October 18, 1933 to the late Elmer Fitts and the late Dera Fitts.
He worked as a traveling hardware salesman.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary "Liz" Fitts; children, Rocky Fitts, Steve (Bonnie) Fitts, Tina (Mike) Jones; grandchildren, Alex (Grant Scott) Fulford, Baily Fulford, Blake (Christi) Fitts; great-grandchildren, Eli McDanal, Emery Fitts, Cruz Moore; and siblings, Wayne (Louana) Fitts and Carolyn Crowley.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Gary Fitts and Linda Box.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Shane D. Ogle officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Victor Fitts, Wade Fitts, Sam Fitts, Gene Fitts, Tim Box, Tim Roberts, Benny Austin, and Jonathan Wikerson.
Final care has been entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home of Valley Grande, Alabama.
