Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and went on to become a Supervisor for Verizon Inc, a position which he held for over 40 years until his retirement. A member of the RI Kennel Club, Robert raised and showed Basenji Dogs for many years. He also enjoyed building automobiles and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Robin A. Forcier, his brother, Richard Roberts, and three grandchildren.
Robert was the father of the late Keith R. Forcier, brother of the late Raymond Forcier and Beverly Snell, and grandfather of the late Melissa Forcier.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 11:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00AM-11:00AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

You have been in my thoughts almost constantly Robin. The care you gave and the love that you showed your Dad is a Testament to your true character...and a clear demonstration of your inner-strength. Please know that I'm always here if you need an ear to listen, a shoulder to rest on, arms for a hug or a friend for anything.
