Robert C. "Bob" Franz Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw. Age 82 years. Son of the late Clarence and Casimera (Sowulewski) Franz, Robert was born August 6, 1942, in Saginaw, Michigan. He served proudly in the U.S. Army Reserve and was a member of American Legion Post #439. Bob married Barbara S. Graham, his loving wife of 59 years, on September 4, 1965. She survives him. Bob was employed at General Motors and Delphi for 35 years. He was a charter member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, secretary and treasurer of the Knights of Columbus Council #4232, member of the Moose and Pulaski Hall. He enjoyed golfing, basketball and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving besides his wife Barbara are one son, Robert J. Franz, Shelby Twp., Michigan; two grandsons, Ethan and Zachary; two sisters, Janice Daniels, Joan (Steve) Franz-Foy; a brother-in-law, James M. Graham and his son Matthew Graham; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Dietrich and Caroline Graham; and many special friends. Bob was preceded in death by his brother, James Franz.
Honoring Mr. Franz wishes cremation has taken place. A private Memorial Service will take place. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
