Robert P. Gomez, 80, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 7, 1945, in Amarillo, Texas, to Elijio and Celia Gomez, Robert dedicated his life to serving his country, his community, and his cherished family.
Robert proudly served his nation for 30 years in the U.S. Army Aviation, where he distinguished himself as a skilled helicopter maintenance worker and maintenance instructor. His expertise and dedication to excellence made him a respected leader among his peers, and he took great pride in training the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals.
