It is with profound sorrow that the Gregoire family announces the passing of Mr. Robert Gregoire Sr., a devoted family man and friend, on November 14, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born on July 22, 1955, in Laplace, Louisiana, after receiving his education in St. John the Baptist Parish School system, he went on to cultivate a distinguished career, applying hisexceptional skills and versatility as a skilled welder and rod buster. However, Mr. Gregoire's enduring legacy extended far beyond his professional accomplishments. He was a beacon of hope and inspiration, selflessly dedicating himself to uplifting the spirits of those in need, even in the face of his own health challenges. With his infectious laughter and soulful singing voice, he brought joy, motivation, and a renewed sense of purpose to all who crossed his path.
Mr. Gregoire is survived by his two sons, Robert Gregoire Jr. (Lawann) and Robert Ezidore; his brother, Welton Gregoire; his sisters, Bernice Hollins and Leona Taylor; his godchild, Stacey King; and his grandchildren, Troy and Trey Deggs, Robert Gregoire III, and Riyleigh Ezidore. He also leaves behind a vast network of nieces, nephews, and cherished cousins, all of whomwill forever carry the indelible mark of his unwavering kindness, leadership, and unwavering faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Sr. and Everlina J. Gregoire, as well as his siblings, Clayton Jr., Cleveland, Ronnie Gregoire; Hattie Anne Gregoire, Evelyn Bourgeois, andDelores G. Cayold.
The Gregoire family invites all who were touched by Robert's life to join them in celebrating his remarkable legacy and eternal impact on the community he so dearly loved. Celebration of Life Service, 10:00am on November 23, 2024, at Israelite Baptist Church, 2192 Alexander Street, Lutcher, LA 70071. Visitation 8:00am until the time of service at the above-named church. Rev. Kevin B. Fredericks, Sr., Pastor-Officiant. Interment St. John Memorial Gardens, 2205 W. Airline Hwy, Laplace, LA 70068. Robert was a concern caring patient and he has time for his
family and other people too. Robert attended Leon Godchaux High School with me. From Barbara Williams classmate at Leon Godchaux High School and my father Charles Williams who is deceased and my mother Pearl Williams who is living in Garyville Louisiana. Rest In Heavenly Peace Robert Gregoire. God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
