Robert was preceded in death by: his parents Gustav and Edith (Strigel) Hampp; his parents-in-law Henry and Arvonia George; and his sisters Mildred Price, and Ruth Steiss.
He is survived by: his beloved wife of 56 years Kathleen "Kathie" (George) Hampp; nieces - Linda Stiess, Martha Stiess, Vanessa George and her daughter Charlotte, Kimberly Bramlett and her daughters Jessica and Katie, and Sarah Ferguson and husband Andrew and their sons Noah and James; and nephews - Sean George and wife Suzanne, Timothy Stiess and wife Elizabeth, Edward Steiess and wife Janet and their son William.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Bolton Congregational Church, 228 Bolton Center Rd, Bolton, CT 06043.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Bolton Congregational Church, 228 Bolton Center Rd, Bolton, CT 06043, The Cornerstone Foundation, P.O. Box 3, Vernon-Rockville, CT 06066, or to the charity of your choosing.
