Robert Hess Obituary
Robert attended Washington High School in Massillon and The Kiski college-preparatory school in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army and was a lifelong member of St. Timothy Episcopal Church in Massillon. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, boating on the lake, gardening, and the Massillon Tiger football team and Tiger Swing Band.
He is preceded by his parents; his brother Thomas Hess, sisters Susan Halter, Gretchen Miller Halter, his loving wife, Beverly G. Hess; and son, Robert M. Hess III.
He is survived by his loving sons, Steven G. (Angela) Hess and David R. (Lynn) Hess; grandchildren, Steven (Jessica) Hess Jr., Andrew Hess, Kathryn Hess, Briana Hess, Sarah Hess, and Ashley Hess; great grandchildren, Blake Hess, Allen Hess, Sophia Hess, and Willow Hess.
Friends and family may call on May 13, 2024 from 10am-11am at St. Timothy Episcopal Church. A memorial service will follow at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association or St. Timothy Episcopal Church.
