Robert "Wade" Hughes, 52, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away May 26, 2023. He was born July 31, 1970 in Longview, TX, to Robert Edward Hughes and Sandra Diane Harris.
Wade was a loving father, spouse, friend and Pepaw. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors gardening, golfing and working on his most prized possession, his truck. Those who knew him would say he was a selfless, hardworking man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Wade was preceded in death by his father Robert Edward Hughes, grandparents Robert W. (Bob) and Pauline Wade, W.C. (Clinton) and Virginia Hughes, and step-sister Stacy West Click.
Survivors include his mother Sandra Harris; son Christian Hughes; daughter Ashley Hughes; beloved fiance,Tammy Hardin and her daughters Heather, Haley and Hanna; grandchildren Luca, Beckett and Paisley, step-sisters Bridgette, Trish, Jamie, Terri and Celeste and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A celebration of Wade's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 2 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff at National Park Medical Center for their wonderful care and compassion during his last days.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Tammy, he was always very nice every time I saw him. Even if once he didn´t know who I was!! Lol. Wish I was right with you to give you a hug. Praying for you my sweet friend. Prayers for the entire family.
