Robert Ippolito

Robert Ippolito, 69, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Sept. 15, 2024. Robert was born on April 1,1955, in Orange, NJ and grew up in Manasquan, NJ. Robert attended Manasquan High School and Votect. He worked at GeeGee's, 7-Eleven, and Maria's Deli with his mother, remembering picking up bread and pastries in the early hours of the morning, before becoming the owner of Ippy's Hobbies Store. Later in life Robert was employed at The Home Depot. Throughout all of Robert's life, he was always willing to pitch in and lend a helping hand. He enjoyed raising angel fish, boating, fishing, gardening, poker, wine and cooking. Robert was very proud of his Italian Heritage and loved spending time with his brothers and family.
Robert is predeceased by his beloved father and mother, John J. Ippolito and Marie L. Ippolito(Tozzi). Robert is survived by his loving other half, Barbara, who shared many years together. He is also survived by his brothers; John J. Jr., Anthony, Patrick, Thomas, William and Joseph Ippolito, his nieces and nephews; John J. III, Cynthia, Victoria, Anthony Patrick, Jaymes, Matthew, Dylan, Jake, Kylie, Ty, Dean and Morgan, his step-children Jaclyn(Eric) Wentz, Daniel(Kristen) Robertori, and their son Daniel Robertori, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736. A service will take place on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11am at Atlantic view Cemetery, Manasquan, NJ.
