Robert Jordan

Robert Jordan passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025. Raised in Queens by his beloved parents, Natalie and Horace, he remained deeply proud of his Italian heritage throughout his life. Robert was a devoted husband to JoAnn and a loving father to Robert and Julie. Robert served with distinction in the New York City Police Department, dedicating his career to the Homicide Division. He was respected by colleagues and deeply committed to justice for the families and communities he served. He was passionate about music, especially the works of Frank Sinatra and Frankie Valli, and proudly saw the Broadway show Jersey Boys twenty times. A lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Islanders, Robert especially admired baseball legends Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio. Known for his sharp wit, humor, and love of the oldies, Robert brought laughter and warmth to everyone who knew him. He will be dearly missed by his family, many good friends, and neighbors. His beloved companion, Lucy, never left his side. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Perry's Funeral Home in Lynbrook, New York.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind.
