Robert Dean Karg, 85 of Bellefontaine passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Otterbein Green Hills.
On February 4, 1941 in Bellefontaine he was born to the late Charles and Alice (Ward) Karg. On September 6, 1975, in Rushsylvania he married Nancy E. Stewart, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Leroy Karg, Harold Karg, Karl (Connie) Karg, brother-in-law, Paul Williams.
He enjoyed raising his animals; the dogs, goats and rabbits, he truly loved them. Bob also liked to go fishing and hunting, he was very proud of his hunting mounts. He enjoyed watching his TV shows, especially Everybody Loves Raymond. Bob also loved to watch NASCAR. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to all their events and helping them with their 4-H projects. Bob enjoyed spending time with his brother-in-law Terry. Talking endlessly about life events and what is going on in their lives at that moment. Bob and Nancy were seen by Terry and other distant family members as second parents. He was kind and caring man. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to get to know him.
He is survived by his two sons; Jay Karg of Raymond, Mike (Julie) Karg of Bellefontaine, his siblings, Leila Williams; two granddaughters, Grace (Ben) Smith and Adaline Karg of Bellefontaine; great granddaughter, Penny Smith; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Karg; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the service.
