Robert "Bob" Clifford Kimmerle passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly, on the evening of March 6, 2024 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 60. Bob was born to Clifford Charles and Sally (Plesniarski) Kimmerle on October 2, 1963 in Orange, New Jersey.
Bob graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a minor in Art History. His creativity served as the cornerstone of his identity, shaping him into a talented musician and artist. He started a band in the early 80s with his closest friends, Tom Cook, Andrew Stallings, and Billy Oliver. They continued to play together up until his passing. His artwork can be found in many homes, classrooms, and offices throughout the country. He married his soulmate, the storm to his calm, Kathi Krieger, on January 30, 1988 in Dallas, Texas.
After graduation, Bob brought his creativity into his career, starting with Thomas Publications in 1989. Bob then started his first company, Third Coast Media, with his brother-in-law, Stuart Lloyd, and friend, Ray Myers, in 1997. Following the sale of his first company, Bob and partners started AutoONE Media in 2006. He most recently served as the Creative Director for Rise Up Kings, a Christian-based startup, where he found fulfillment bringing people to Christ while strengthening his own relationship with the Lord.
Bob was a legendary Dallas sports fan, particularly of the Stars and Cowboys. His sports watching sidekick was his mother-in-law, Donna Krieger. As much as he loved his pro sports, his favorite players were always his four children, who could count on him to be up in the stands cheering them on every game.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kathi of Anna, Texas; son, Austin Kimmerle of Plano, Texas; son, Taylor Kimmerle and wife, Katie of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Morgan Strother and husband, Donny of Celina, Texas; son, Hunter Kimmerle of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Mason, Tatum, Saylor, and Campbell Strother, and Beckett and Brylee Kimmerle; mother, Sally Kimmerle of Nashua, New Hampshire; sister, Karen Black and Michael Keefe of Bedford, New Hampshire, and her children; Jeffrey, Kristen, and Lauren; sister, Susan Koop and husband, Bryan of Boston, Massachusetts and their children; Kendra, Lexy, Bryan Ross; brother, Tom Kimmerle of Baltimore, Maryland; sister-in-law, Kim Lloyd and Stuart of Fairview, Texas and their children, Addison, Brooklyn, and Brayden; brother-in-law, Darin Krieger and wife, Katie and their children, Noah, Sophia and Bella; mother-in-law, Donna Krieger; father-in-law, Larry Krieger and wife, Mary and sister-in-law Melissa Cavo and husband, Luke, and children; sister-in-law Amy Watley and husband, Stan, and her child; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Kimmerle.
Bob was a wonderful son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to so many. He will be missed beyond measure, but we find comfort in knowing Bob was greeted by his dad, who he missed so dearly, when he entered those pearly gates of Heaven, and everyone else who was near and dear to him that have passed on before.
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us." Romans 8:18.
