Glenn Kimmerle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel on May 24, 2025.
Glenn Thomas Kimmerle, known affectionately as "Tom" to his friends, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 86.
Born on April 8, 1939, in Riley, Indiana, Tom graduated from Riley High School and went on to attend Ohio State University. On June 8, 1963, he married his beloved wife, Donna Kimmerle, with whom he shared more than 60 wonderful years.
Tom dedicated 48 years to B.W. Rogers Corporation, where he was known as a top-performing salesman. His dedication, honesty, and personal warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Outside of work, Tom had a sharp mind for business and a deep love for his family, especially enjoying the management of his investment portfolio.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Kimmerle; his son, Greg Kimmerle; his daughter-in-law Lisa Kimmerle; his grandchildren, Matthew Kimmerle, Leah Kimmerle, and Katelynn Kimmerle; and his siblings, David Kimmerle and Mary Ann Landesman.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Scott Kimmerle; his parents, Wilbert Kimmerle and Madlynne Kimmerle; and his siblings, Robert Kimmerle, Linda, and John Kimmerle.
A service to celebrate Tom's life will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. where friends may visit from 10 - 11:30 am at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. Friends and loved ones are warmly invited to attend and honor his memory. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Celebrant Dave Roberts will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause that was close to Tom's heart.
