Robert Kollock Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ritchay Funeral Home - Wisconsin Rapids on Oct. 1, 2025.
With love and gratitude for a life well lived, we share the passing of Robert John (Bob) Kollock, 86, of Wisconsin Rapids. Bob passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Aspirus Hospital.
Born on January 9, 1939, in Bancroft, WI, to Henry and Louella Kollock, Bob grew up surrounded by the values of hard work, family, and humor that carried him throughout his life. After graduating from Almond High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
On June 3, 1961, Bob married his best friend and the love of his life, Patricia Kreutzer. For 64 years, they built a life together filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures. Bob worked at Consolidated Paper before following in his father's footsteps as a cash-crop farmer, a role he cherished and dedicated himself to until his retirement.
Bob had a gift for finding joy in simple things-like collecting aluminum cans or adding to his treasured Green Bay Packers memorabilia collection. He loved his sports, always cheering for the Brewers, Packers, and Bucks, often with two games on the TV so he wouldn't miss a play. And if you ever spent time with Bob, you surely remember his jokes. They weren't always the funniest, but his loud, contagious laugh would have everyone else laughing right along with him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his children, Timothy Kollock, Laurie Malchow (Mark), Susan Albers (Paul), and Steven Kollock (Rhonda); grandchildren, Jesse (Amanda), Nathan, Tyson, Chaddix, Haley (Brandon), Kylie (Noah), Kyle, and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Harper, Teagan, and Sophia; and his sisters, Alice Polley (Gene) and Patricia Treible; sisters-in-law, Judy Kollock and Carol Kollock; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, H. James Kollock, William Kollock, and Kathleen Goodness; brothers-in-law, William Treible, William Goodness, and Tony Kreutzer; sisters-in-law, Carol Jinsky and Marcia Pavlosky; and his beloved grandson, Benjamin Kollock.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Aspirus Cancer Center for their care and compassion.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Friday, September 12, at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., with a service and luncheon to follow.
Bob's legacy is one of love, laughter, and family. He taught us to laugh often, love deeply, and find joy in life's simple moments. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
