Our beloved husband, dad, and papa passed away on October 1, 2024. He was born July 10, 1950 to his loving parents, Robert Lynn and Jeanine Lancaster. Robert was raised in Murray until they moved to West Jordan. Robert then went on to graduate from Bingham High School in 1968. He married his true love, Mary Anne Allen, on November 3, 1967. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on September 22, 1972. Some of the many things that Robert enjoyed in life include his grandchildren, horse pulling with his cousin Deloy who he idolized, hunting, Kenworth trucks, classic cars, guns, and western movies. He was a history buff, a hard worker, a great provider, generous, and extremely patriotic.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Anne, his dog Milley; children Lynette (Bart) Hansen, Debbie Kinsman, Gary (Jane) Lancaster, and Robyn (Jim) Burningham; 17 grandkids; and 26 great-grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Jeanine Lancaster and grandsons Taylor and Bradley Burningham.
