Robert Lesko Obituary

Mr. Lesko served as a police officer and later as a security specialist before his retirement. He was a member of the Army's Armored Tank Division and served in Germany, leaving the military on December 3, 1976.
Robert enjoyed target shooting and took pleasure in teaching others how to handle firearms and training them to obtain their concealed carry licenses. He also loved spending time with his friends at gun shows and was known for his incredible laugh, which will be fondly remembered.
He is survived by his brothers, William P. (Julie) Lesko and Richard J. (Heather) Lesko; his nieces, Jillian (Ron) Lesko Mills and Julia Lesko; and his nephew, Collin Lesko. He was preceded in death by his parents, William P. and Anne (Lefelhocz) Lesko. He also leaves behind his beloved companion dog, Panda.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to Noon on Wednesday, December 11, at Johnson Funeral Home, located at 368 Mentor Avenue in Painesville, Ohio. A service will follow from Noon to 12:30 PM that same day at the funeral home. Rev. Robert Meredith from Christian Life Church will officiate the service.
Interment will take place at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, located at 1521 Chillicothe Road (Ohio State Route 306) in Chesterland, Ohio immediately after the service.

Bob loved taking pictures at family gatherings. One year we were at the Perry Park for a labor Day picnic, there were many seagulls a perfect opportunity to get a Kool picture with the seagull in the background. We were arranging our selfs for this Kool picture when all of the sudden the seagulls start flying away. In a disappointing serious voice I yelled, Come back! Come back! Bob started uncontrollably laughing. He teased me often after that day when he saw me he would say Come back! Come back! While laughing. I would laugh too!
Seagull always remind me of Bob.

Bob used to live by me. When he would walk his dog Dolly my granddaughter would always run in and ask for a slice of cheese for her. Rest in Peace Bob.
