Robert "Larry" Linscott, 68 of Crooksville, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Larry was born on September 25, 1956, in Canal Winchester. He is the son of Carol Lee (Grosscup) Lohman, the late Robert Carder and his adoptive father, George Linscott Sr. Larry traveled with his father (George) doing photography in his younger years. He was a dedicated worker, driving semi-trucks until his retirement. He loved attending concerts, such as AC/DC, KISS, and local bands such as These Guys Live, and Rock This Way, where he found many friends and created many bonds. Larry also had a special love for his furry friends. He met the love of his life, Brenda (Drake) Linscott, and during their time together, they attended many concerts, bands, and dog agility trials. He was also active in his community, being a devoted member of the Anchor Lodge #283 A&FM. To know Larry was to love Larry.
In addition to his mother, Larry is survived by his step-daughter, Toray Carrel; his granddaughter, Laykin Starkey; his siblings, Rhod (Gayla) Carder, Russ (Debbie) Carder, Kelly Linscott, George (Tammy) Linscott Jr.; his several nieces and nephews, including his special nephew, Chad Linscott; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley and Ralph Drake; his brother-in-laws, Eric Drake, Christopher (Jennifer) Drake, and Timothy (Amy) Drake; his best friend, Kyle Ray; his furry companion, Duchess and Jester.
In addition to his father and adoptive father, Larry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda J. (Drake) Linscott, who passed away on July 17, 2024.
Visitations for Larry will be held from 5 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Masonic services will be held at 6 pm provided by the Anchor Lodge #283 A&FM. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Linscott family.
