Robert Edward Loosemore Sr.

ROBERT EDWARD LOOSEMORE SR. was born on August 10, 1941 to John Vincent and Maurine (Layton) in Crown Point, Indiana. After graduating from high school in 1959, Robert enlisted in the United States Marines and was honorably discharged in 1963. On July 17, 1999 Robert was united in marriage to Carol Rozek. In 2001, he retired from the phone company after working there for many years. Robert was taken to Avera Tyler Hospital and passed away there on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the age of 81 years old.
Robert enjoyed spending his time at the gun club and reloading shotguns. He was an avid reader of western stories by Louis L'Amour. Robert enjoyed watching old western movies especially those with John Wayne.
Robert is survived by his wife, Carol: two sons, Robert Loosemore Jr. of Crown Point, Indiana, Dan (Tammy) Loosemore and their children Jacob and Jessica of Crown Point, Indiana; stepdaughter, Michelle (Kelly) Appel of Arco, Minnesota and their children, Brayden, Colton, Donovan, Gavin, and Morgan; brother, Kent (Pat) Loosemore of Crown Point, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
