Obituary published on Legacy.com by William L Danks Funeral Home on Feb. 22, 2026.
Robert Eugene Lush, Sr., 43, of
Beaver Dam, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, surrounded by the woman he loved most, his devoted soulmate, Tamara Lush. Born December 26, 1982, Robert lived a life defined by loyalty, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family and brotherhood.
Robert was a proud brother and dedicated member of the Grim Reaper Motorcycle Club. To him, the patch was more than a symbol â€" it was family. He believed deeply in loyalty, respect, and standing beside his brothers through every high and low. He lived by a code of honor and commitment that earned him respect everywhere he went.
Above all, Robert was devoted to his true soulmate, Tamara Lush, whom he always said saved him. You rarely saw one without the other. Their bond was fierce, protective, and deeply rooted in loyalty and love. What they shared was more than a relationship â€" it was a true love story built on strength, healing, and standing side by side through every storm.
Whether at home, at gatherings, or on the open road, Tamara was always by his side â€" riding on the back of his bike, holding on tight as they chased the wind together. It was rare to see Robert without her there, and their presence together spoke louder than words.
Robert was a proud and devoted father to Robbie, Kadmen, and Dalton, and nothing in this world meant more to him than his sons. He cherished every moment spent fishing and hunting with them, teaching them not only how to cast a line or track through the woods, but how to live with loyalty, strength, and integrity. The time he spent with his boys was where his heart was fullest.
He enjoyed working with his goats, building things with his hands, and living the simple, honest life of a Kentucky man. He found peace in the outdoors and pride in providing and creating.
More than anything, he loved to feel the wind on his face while riding beside his brothers â€" free on the open road, exactly where he felt most alive.
He is survived by his soulmate, Tamara Lush; his children, Robbie, Kadmen, Dalton, Dylan and Isabella Rose; his mother, Christina Lush; his sisters, Trina (Craig) Stanley, Dawn (Nick) Wilson and Becky (Eric) Huska and Jeffrey (Akemi) Lush.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl B. Lush.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, resilience, fatherhood, and a love story that will never be forgotten.
He lived by loyalty. He loved fiercely. And he will forever ride in our hearts.
